The PADI Divemaster Course

The Course

This is an intense program that will train you to work with PADI Instructors, other divemasters, students and other divers. This program is oriented toward self-motivated divers who are serious about their training. Even if you choose not to continue and work in the ranks of the diving professionals you will benefit from the techniques and information presented in this course. Since experience is the best teacher when it comes to anticipating problems and working with students, Divemaster candidates will complete an internship. During this internship you will participate and assist on five pool sessions and ten open water dives.

Prerequisites

In order to enroll you must be 18 years old, have logged at least 20 dives to start (60 must be logged by completion) and already have your PADI Rescue Diver or an equivalent certification.
