Dive Fiji: March 2018
March 24, 2018 - April 3, 2018
Join us at the VoliVoli Beach Resort in Fiji March 24th – April 3rd, 2018. This trip of a lifetime features an all inclusive plan for 10 nights with 8 days of diving. The area around VoliVoli is the Vatu-I-Ra passage also known as the Bligh Waters known for its abundance and diversity of marine life. The beautiful hard and soft corals will leave you in awe.
VoliVoli Beach Resort
VoliVoli is located on the northernmost tip of Viti Levu, Fiji’s main island. Getting to the resort is easy, they’re just a ten minute drive from the town of Rakiraki or two hours scenic drive from Nadi International Airport and the same from Suva city. Viti Levu is believed to be the oldest of Fiji’s islands, and while the north of the island is a little off the beaten track for many travellers, most people agree that the journey is well worth the effort. They have a lower annual rainfall than many other parts of Fiji, a laid-back culture, and nearby there are spectacular mountains, traditional villages and thick tropical jungle. The word ‘Volivoli’ means sand in the local dialect, and the beach was named after the sand spit which stretches 80 metres out to sea, providing a wonderful sunbathing spot and marking the most northerly point of Viti Levu.
The resort is family owned and features a pool and lounge area, a beautiful beach, The Nuku Bar and restaurant, and a spa. You will get to witness a traditional Meke Performance along with a beach BBQ on your last night. Want to try some other activites, lay on the beach, take a kayak or SUP out or relax at their spa.

The reefs in the surrounding Bligh Waters are some of the healthiest in the world, with very little pollution and few boats, so you’ll be able to see an array of marine life including anemone fish, turtles, colourful soft coral and reef sharks.
For the more experienced diver, the staff have hand picked more than 50 superb dive sites. Most of the best sites are no more than 20 minutes by boat from Volivoli Beach. The water temps average 78 to 82 in March with the air temperatures being in the 80s. A standard 3mm full suit is recommended. If you tend to get cold, a 5mm suit might be your best option or simply adding on a warm water hood and gloves or even a vest.
